My wife and I recently had our wedding reception here.
The venue is reasonably priced based on today's market and offer also offer reasonably priced, in-house rentals (amongst other vendors).
Since booking there has been some staff exchanges, but all to say that everyone has been very responsive and accommodating and we did not run into any issues whatsoever.
All our guests loved this venue and kept raving about it during and after the wedding.
Highly recommend, and a big 'thank you' to the team at LJWC!

The LJWC is a stunning venue with plenty of space to do your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in the same place at a great price. We found the venue to be so beautiful already, that our decorations merely accentuated it and we didn't need to do too much more to create our space. Our guests all loved the venue, and we got many compliments throughout the night and afterward. We chose to host the ceremony in the south garden, which fit 120 guests without a problem, and a cocktail hour (with mariachi) on the north and west gardens. It was all very beautiful and worked incredibly well. Erin, the venue manager, is extremely easy to work with, flexible, and responsive (we loved her!).
The venue did require the event be over at 10pm (as did nearly every other venue we toured), however we were able to transition the party to Hennessey's Tavern nearby without any issues, and our guests also loved the brief walk and change of scene! We were able to keep the party going until late into the night.

I loved having my wedding at the La Jolla Woman's Club! This venue is so beautiful and has a really lovely, intimate garden feeling. In May the trees are blooming creating such a beautiful backdrop for all of our photos. We saved a lot on floral by having our ceremony and reception outside, where not much floral needed to be added since it was already gorgeous. A bonus is it's proximity to the ocean so we could sneak off during cocktail hour for beach photos. Dancing is required to be inside, which I thought I wouldn't like since I wanted everything outside, but it ended up being really cool to have a separate space for it. Erin was very responsive and easy to work with and the price for the venue was actually more affordable compared to other venues in the area. Highly recommend, I would choose this venue a million times over.

This venue is so beautiful and versatile for a wedding and not to mention the staff working there are the best and made wedding planning such a breeze. It’s also in the perfect location close to the beach, hotels, and tons of restaurants and shops.

We live across the country in Washington, DC and had another venue in La Jolla picked out for our November 2019 wedding. My now mother-in-law (local in SD) wasn't feeling it and suggested La Jolla Woman's Club. At first I was like what, no, we have a place in mind, then the second I clicked through LJWC details, I was sold. As a former US history teacher, I had wanted something with historic charm, and wow did La Jolla Woman's Club deliver! We started planning this wedding a year and a half ago, and every step of the way Auriel led us with expert professionalism. I thought at first that we paid a venue rental fee and we were really on our own to work through the details, but Auriel graciously helped us, with tons of pro tips and suggestions, helping with layouts and rental and vendor decisions, giving us some tough love advice when we needed it, and the RESULT was the most dream perfect wedding. The rentals Auriel helped us with through Mario were perfect and way more affordable than outside rental vendors. The fountain was such a perfect focal point for our ceremony, that tree was magnificent, and on and on. Our guests raved about all of it, and more importantly, we'll hold La Jolla Woman's Club close to our hearts for the rest of our lives. Could not have asked for a better

I would get married here every day! We don't live too far away so we love driving by and reminiscing about the best day of our lives. They were very communicative and super easy to plan with. Considering this is in La Jolla, the price was also very affordable and they had a great list of vendors that they recommend. I wouldn't have changed a thing about our wedding day and very happy with the venue. We had the ceremony in the garden area, cocktail hour outside on the patio, and the reception indoors. It was early April so we were happy to have both options inside or outside, with last minute changes if necessary, as we weren't sure if it was going to be raining.
